ENSEMBLE TRAVEL “Bon Vivant" Contest
How to enter the Contest
Contest begins June 1, 2009. Enter in one of two ways: (1) complete the entry form on-line at www.bonvivanttravel.ca and click where directed to forward the entry electronically or (2) complete the contest entry form contained in the Ensemble Travel Bon Vivant brochure available at participating Ensemble Travel Group member agencies. One entry per person. All entries must be received by 11:59pm, July 31, 2009, the contest closing date. The Ensemble Travel Group (the sponsor) is not responsible for any entries destroyed, mutilated, lost or misdirected. No purchase necessary. Although online access and an e-mail account can be used in order to participate in this contest, no purchase of any kind is required. Many public libraries, retail businesses and others offer free access to computers and a number of Internet service providers and other companies offer free e-mail accounts.
To enter “Bon Vivant” contest, individuals are required to provide their correct e-mail address (if any), first and last name, complete address including postal code, phone number and age bracket. In addition we may collect certain personal, usage and purchase information. All information collected at any of the participating agency websites for this contest is protected against unauthorized access. By using the entry websites you consent to collection and use of this information by The Ensemble Travel Group and/or its participating agencies.
The Ensemble Travel Group and/or its participating agencies will not willfully disclose individually identifiable information about a contestant to any third party without first receiving a contestant's permission. The Ensemble Travel Group and/or its participating agencies will not share or sell a contestant's personal information to other companies, organizations or individuals. Prizes
There will be a total of one (1) prize available to be won. The prize will consist of a trip for two (2) to Spain, courtesy of Transat Holidays. The prize includes return airfare between Toronto and Madrid, Spain on Air Transat; roundtrip transfers between the Madrid airport and the hotel; seven (7) nights accommodation (option 1) at the Hotel Asturias in Madrid including daily breakfast based on double occupancy; one day Hop-On Hop-Off Madrid Vision tour; a half-day panoramic tour of Madrid; a half-day tour of Toledo; a full-day tour of Avila and Segovia. Other items such as roundtrip airfare between the winner's home and the departure city, accommodation and meals in the departure city (if any), transportation and security-related taxes, airport fees, currency, energy or fuel surcharges (if any), custom duties, entry fees, tourist cards, travel documents such as passports, visas, vaccinations, etc, travel insurance, meals (other than the included breakfasts), alcoholic beverages, gratuities and any other charges of a personal nature are not included and are the responsibility of the winner and his or her travelling companion. Travel must be completed by October 31, 2009. Some blackout periods may occur and travel must be booked by the winner's entry-submitting travel agency through Transat Holidays at least 6 weeks prior to the anticipated date of departure, failing which Transat Holidays will not accept the reservation and the prize will be deemed void. Transat Holidays shall assume no responsibility of any nature whatsoever for any postponement, delay or cancellation of the flight or any other prize component for any reason whatsoever including but not limited to weather conditions, equipment breakdown or failure. The winner and his or her companion must travel together both ways and must have the legal right to leave Canada and return to Canada and must have the legal right to enter and leave Spain. Subject to availability as determined by Transat Holidays. Retail value: $4,000.00 (CAD).
All travel documentation (such as a passport) is the responsibility of the winner and his or her traveling companion and must be obtained prior to departure. The prize must be accepted as awarded, has no cash value, cannot be transferred, substituted or redeemed. The winner and his or her travelling companion shall respect the validity dates of the contest and will be subject to the terms and conditions contained in Transat Holidays’ Italy-Spain-Greece 2009 brochure. No extensions of stay will be permitted. All decisions of the judges are final.
How To Win
The independent judging organization will conduct a random draw in North Vancouver, BC on August 5, 2009. Chances of winning will be dependent upon the number of eligible entries received. The selected entrant will be notified by email and/or mail within two weeks of the draw. In order to win, the selected entrant must first correctly answer the time-limited mathematical, skill-testing question administered by mail. In order to be declared a winner, the selected entrant must first sign a Winner's Affidavit and a Winner's Agreement (including a Publicity Release), agreeing to the use of his or her name, photo, voice and/or statements without compensation other than the prize offered. The travelling companion must be over the age of 18. By entering the contest, the entrants agree to be bound by the rules of the contest and agree to the decisions of the independent judging organization with respect to all aspects of this contest. All residents of Canada except Quebec are eligible to win, providing they are over the age of majority in the province in which they live on June 1, 2009 and providing that they are not employees of The Ensemble Travel Group, Transat Holidays, and the participating travel agencies, their advertising or promotional agencies or the independent judging organization or family members with whom these employees are domiciled. All entries become the property of The Ensemble Travel Group (the sponsor).
The Ensemble Travel Group (the sponsor) and/or Transat Holidays reserve the right to substitute another prize of equal or greater value should this prize become unavailable for any reason and to cancel this promotion at any time for any reason whatsoever including, but not limited to, printing or production errors pertaining to the contest promotional materials, unavailability of the prize due to situations with prize suppliers which are beyond the reasonable control of The Ensemble Travel Group (the sponsor) or if any virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of The Ensemble Travel Group (the sponsor) or its participating agencies corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and, should such an attempt be made, The Ensemble Travel Group (the sponsor) and its participating agencies reserve the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
The Ensemble Travel Group (the sponsor) and their participating agencies are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any entry to be received by The Ensemble Travel Group (the sponsor) or their participating agencies on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to the entrant's or any other person's computer, related to or resulting from downloading any materials in this promotion. The Ensemble Travel Group (the sponsor) and their participating agencies reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to modify the contest rules without materially affecting the terms and conditions of the contest.
The contest is subject to all Federal, Provincial and Municipal regulations and is void where prohibited by law.
